Davina Sanders is a health counselor trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Regarded by many to be the cutting-edge leader in health education and nutrition, The Institute boasts instructors who are world-renowned experts in their field including Dr. Andrew Weil M.D., Dr. Deepak Chopra M.D., Dr. David Katz M.D. and Sally Fallon Morrell, just to name a few.  Davina lives and practices in St. Louis, Missouri.  Here is the interview with Davina.

2. Annie B. Bond – Natural Living Expert

Annie B Bond

Annie B. Bond is a best-selling author of 5 books and she has been writing about green living for over 20 years.  Her knowledge and expertise has been sought after and she was dubbed the “foremost green-living expert’ by Body and Soul Magazine.  She is a regular contributor at Huffington Post along with her partner contributor, Dr. Deepak Chopra M.D.  Her book, “True Food” received international recognition at the Gourmand World Cookbook awards receiving the “Best in the World” award in the Health and Nutrition Cookbook category in 2010 in Paris, France.  Her latest venture, Terra Spheres, goes beyond the personal realm of health and wellness and aspires to enable world-wide transformation through global consciousness. 3. Casey Angelova – Chef and Food Blogger


Casey Angelova is a chef, food blogger, gardener, rancher, bee keeper and the list goes on.  She first started out her professional career in television and film.  Her experiences living overseas sparked a desire in her to learn more about food, food science, gardening and much more.  She recently finished her training at the Culinary Institute of America and is now a certified chef.  She makes just about everything from scratch, cultivates an asparagus farm, scouts land for her winery and manages her family while doing all of that.  Here is what Casey and I discussed recently.

 4. Jessica Snyder – Essential Oils Specialist


Jessica Snyder is a busy mom to 4 kids and lives in the beautiful state of Maine.  She is an entrepreneur and has been involved in numerous successful businesses. In addition to her work with doTerra, she creates custom-designed hair accessories (I’ve used her high quality bows for years!) for boutiques and online shops.  Her love of natural living came from her family.  She grew up going to a pediatric naturopath, eating fresh fruits and vegetables from their family garden and spending time outdoors.  She has always had a reverence for nature which is evident in her passion about essential oils and how they can be used to help people.

5. Amy Cheifetz – Voice Teacher and Singer specializing in the Cornelius Reid Technique


Amy Cheifetz is a soprano and voice teacher who has recently relocated to Salem, Oregon after twelve years in New York City. While in NYC, she performed extensively throughout the region, was a member of the voice faculty at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and maintained a successful private vocal studio. As a teacher, besides her twelve years teaching at AMDA and in her private studio, she was a Visiting Professor of Voice at Ball State University in Indiana and taught dancers at Princeton Dance and Theater Studio in New Jersey. Amy gives master classes in both classical and musical theater throughout the U.S. Her students perform on Broadway (including Hairspray, Chorus Line, Wicked), in National and International Tours (including Hairspray, Grease, Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof), and Regional houses across the United States.  You can follow Amy on her blog here.

6. Dr. Jeffery Groesbeck – Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine


Dr. Jeffery Groesbeck, D.O. completed his undergraduate education at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine before attending medical school at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.  His training was in family medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and he is now a fellow in Neuromuscular Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He lives in Maine with his wife and 4 daughters.

7. Nancy Gnecco – Licensed Professional Counselor and EFT Master

NLG8-08jpgNancy Gnecco is an Energy Psychotherapist and Licensed Professional Counselor who combines traditional counseling with several Energy Psychotherapy modalities.  She is an EFT Founding Master, an AAMET Trainer of Trainers, who utilizes Matrix Reimprinting, Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT), Z Point, and Comprehensive Chakra Therapy for working with the body’s energy centers. Nancy maintains a private practice in Maine and Georgia where she works in person, by phone or SKYPE with folks all over the world.  She specializes in helping people to come into alignment with their soul’s purpose by clearing trauma, correcting destructive life patterns and by re-programming negative belief systems that have prevented people from living lives of authenticity, and personal peace.  Nancy’s interview regarding EFT is here.

 8. Angela Peterson Winter, Holistic Voice Teacher

4768087A dedicated coach and teacher, Angela Peterson Winter seeks to help soulful people discover and develop their authentic voice literally and metaphorically so they can live their truth with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

Ms. Winter has been teaching voice for over ten years and has held teaching positions in music centers throughout the country, in addition to maintaining a private studio.   She has twice been recognized as one of the top young voice teachers in the nation by NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing: as a winner of the 2010 Emerging Leaders Award and and as a 2011 NATS Intern.  Her students perform actively throughout the Washington, DC area and beyond and are routinely selected for leading and supporting roles in community theater and high school musicals, select choirs, summer programs and top arts colleges.

Ms. Winter holds a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College of Rider University and a Bachelor of Music degree summa cum laude in Voice Performance from Butler University.  She has completed life coach training with Dr. Martha Beck.  Ms. Winter holds additional certifications in Somatic Voicework™- The LoVetri Method and Lisa Popeil’s Voiceworks® Method to facilitate her work with contemporary commercial music singers, as well as Reiki energy healing.  She lives with her husband and young daughter outside Washington, DC.

9. Sara Vance, certified nutritionist from Rebalance Life

sara vanceSara Vance is a certified nutritionist and runs her practice out of San Diego, California.  In addition to her consultations, she offers  corporate nutrition, eCourses, and regularly writes blogs and articles  about nutrition. She has been featured on MindBodyGreen,  Redbook, eHow, Closer Weekly, CBS Los Angeles, and has appeared  as a regular guest on Fox 5 San Diego for over 4 years.

Like many of us, Sara’s journey to wellness was not an easy one. She suffered from many of the same ailments that plague millions of people. Sara struggled with allergies, digestive disorders and weight issues. It was when she started to use food as medicine that her life changed dramatically and so did her health.
